Wanted to test the limits of the new technology and defended this by comparing it to Oscar winner Life of Pi and highest grossing movie of all time Avatar

Uses a star studded cast in order to promote the movie with actors like |Bill Murray, Ben Kinglsy, Christopher Walken, Idreas Elba and Scarlett Johansson

 the two competing companies are using remakes of old classics in order to try and attract the largest audience to them over they're competitors and using actors as the driving force behind the movies.
